Anita Esslinger has a general corporate and commercial practice relating to international transactions, including advising clients concerning U.S. and foreign laws and regulations affecting such transactions. Her practice in the area of international business transactions includes a variety of corporate and commercial issues involving companies doing business in the UK and Europe, including in respect of data protection and privacy issues, distribution and marketing arrangements, licensing and high technology consortia and related intellectual property issues, joint ventures and cross-border acquisitions. In addition, she regularly advises clients with respect to international regulatory issues such as those involving the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the OECD Convention and other anti-corruption initiatives, foreign military sales, U.S. antiboycott laws and regulations, U.S., UK and EU export controls and sanctions regulations and EU and UK competition regulations. She has written and spoken regularly on matters relating to international business.
