Gerald R. Ortbals Outstanding Law Firm Award 2009

Bryan Cave’s St. Louis office has earned one of the area’s highest honors for pro bono work. Legal Services of Eastern Missouri (LSEM) honored the firm with the 2009 Gerald R. Ortbals Outstanding Law Firm Award.
The award is named for Gerald Ortbals, of counsel in our St. Louis office, for his pivotal role in getting law firms involved with the LSEM Volunteer Lawyers Program. The award recognizes a law firm that has truly distinguished itself with its commitment to pro bono service.
LSEM is an independent, nonprofit organization that provides high-quality civil legal assistance and equal access to justice for low-income people in eastern Missouri.
